About the Course : This course and tabletop exercise will be held as part of Region 3’s monthly Advisory Meeting.  The course will provide a better understanding of the developing, implementing, and maintaining an effective water safety program for your healthcare organization. Topics include:

• Sufficiency determinations of water management plans

• Performing a site-specific risk assessment of a facility

• Creating and understanding a process flow diagram

• Tracing water systems and identifying critical control areas in the building

•   Developing controls that can be routinely implemented

• Actively documenting control measures and monitoring results

• Ensuring consistency of implementation across a portfolio
