About the Course: This course provides training on and resources for personnel who require advanced application of the Incident Command System (ICS). This course expands upon information covered in the ICS-100, ICS-200, and ICS-300 courses. The course objectives are to explain how major incidents engender special management challenges, describe the circumstances in which an area command is established and describe the circumstances in which multiagency coordination systems are established.
Target Audience: The target audience for this course is senior personnel who are expected to perform in a management capacity in an area command or multi-agency coordination entity.
Prerequisites: IS-100, IS-200, IS-700, IS-800, & ICS 300, All prerequisite certificates must be uploaded to participants MITRAIN account by March 10, 2022 to attend this course.
